Warning — My Personal Experience With Chadis Corpening / CRC Trades

I’m making this post because I don’t want anyone else to potentially go through what I’m going through.

I sent MONEY directly to Chadis Corpening personally because I trusted him to trade the money for me. I believed we had an agreement, and now I’m being told the money is gone. I’m left trying to get answers about what happened to my hard-earned money.

Even more concerning, four other people I personally know have told me they’ve experienced similar situations. That’s why I feel people need to be cautious before trusting anyone with their money.

I have kept my messages and payment records, and I want answers and a resolution. This is not money I can simply afford to forget about.

If you’re involved with CRC Trades or considering sending Chadis money to trade for you, please do your research first. Verify who you’re sending money to, ask where your money will be held, and make sure you understand the risks and what protections you have.

I’m sharing my personal experience to help others make informed decisions. I’m asking people to do their homework, ask questions, and protect their hard-earned money.

If you’ve had a similar experience, please document what happened and consider reporting it through the appropriate channels.

People work hard for their money, and we deserve transparency and answers when we trust someone to handle it.

⚠️ Please share this post so others can be cautious before sending money.

2. Statement by David Devine

Hello, my name is David Devine.

I wanted to let you know I have paid Chadis Corpening $2,400 to “invest” in his day trading copy trading scheme and I have not made a single cent or gotten a single payout from him. He has made many claims like how he would call me every friday to give me updates or he will send me screenshots every friday, and he has not done so. He uses platforms like Discord, Whop, 1houseglobal, tradelocker, and Genesis FX Markets. His cashapp is $chadis7.

Not only did he lie about the things above, he said he would give me all of my money back to get my friend on the hook, and he did not give me all of my money back, in fact I got none at all. He is really manipulative and will not do what I ask of him. He got 4 grand out of my friend Trevor Kettles. Is there any recourse I have against him?

The statements above reflect David Devine’s account of his experience. Payment records, communications, and the terms of the arrangement would be relevant to independently assessing the allegations.

Yep. He got me too for 4 grand. He fed me lies to gain my trust and made it seem like a win win situation knowing I had very little knowledge about trading. Not only that but before I ever decided to give him money he would message me every month or so telling me how he wanted to do me a “favor” since we used to be close friends. So it’s not like I came to him in the first place, he just kept badgering me until I gave in. He made it personal and I trusted him to do right by me and now here we all are.

I lost $10k to Chadis. He called me one day saying how he had this great opportunity for me and talked me into getting a 10k loan. I sent him the money and haven’t received anything back in return. It’s been 6 months now and nothing. Now I’m stuck with a $225 payment a month (which he promised me he would pay if he didn’t make money with my 10k that I gave him) I also have some screenshots of our conversations.

Eli Crawley reports that he has screenshots of conversations relating to his account. Those screenshots have not been independently reviewed by this website.

I can second this, he did the same to my husband and his friend between both of them he got 11k that he swore he would trade with. They never got their money back and he always has an excuse such as “next week” it’s been like 5 months of “next week”

This account reflects Kensie Cook’s description of reported experiences involving her husband and his friend. The underlying payment records, communications, and trading arrangements have not been independently reviewed by this website.

He did me the same way. I paid like $500 to get this dude’s referrals after he left CRC, and he promised me $1,000 a month from referrals. He never gave me a dime.

This account reflects a statement attributed to Dylan Adkins concerning a payment for referrals and promised referral income. The payment, agreement, and reported outcome have not been independently verified by this website.

That’s not at all what I told Clint. I told him that’s on him if he’s gonna do that investing with you. I said be careful doing it with anyone. I never received my money that I ever invested with anyone, including the $400 in 2023–2024 with you and the $1,300 I sent you last year. So bro, that’s on you, not me. I’ve never said anything that wasn’t true.

This statement is presented as an account attributed to Josh Thapa. It includes his description of what he says he told Clint and his claims regarding investments totaling $400 in 2023–2024 and $1,300 sent the following year. The underlying transactions and communications have not been independently verified by this website.

Reporting Resources and Official Sources

The following resources are provided for individuals who wish to report suspected investment fraud, deceptive business practices, questionable trading arrangements, or related concerns. Inclusion in this list does not mean that any agency has investigated, substantiated, or made findings about the accounts published on this website.

Readers should submit truthful, firsthand information and distinguish personal observations from information reported by others.

1. Securities, Investment, and Trading Regulators

These agencies may be relevant when money is solicited for trading, copy trading, investment management, forex, futures, or other financial products. Which regulator has jurisdiction depends on the actual arrangement and instruments involved.

The SEC and North Carolina Securities Division may be relevant to certain investment offerings or investment-advisory activities. The CFTC and NFA may be relevant to certain forex, futures, commodity, or derivatives-related activities. Not every copy-trading arrangement falls under every regulator.

2. Federal Fraud and Law Enforcement Reporting

IC3 accepts reports involving internet-enabled crime. The FTC collects reports about fraud and deceptive practices. The appropriate law enforcement agency determines whether information warrants further investigation. An IC3 submission does not, by itself, establish that the FBI has opened an investigation.

Tax reports should be based on specific information about suspected tax violations, rather than assumptions based solely on someone’s trading activity or lifestyle.

3. North Carolina Consumer Protection

The Consumer Protection Division accepts complaints about potentially deceptive business practices and may refer matters to another agency. It cannot act as an individual’s private attorney or guarantee recovery of money.

4. Local Criminal and Civil Remedies

Individuals who believe they were deceived into transferring money may also consider contacting:

  • Their local police department or county sheriff’s office.
  • The district attorney’s office serving the relevant county.
  • A North Carolina attorney experienced in fraud, consumer protection, or investment disputes.
  • North Carolina Small Claims Court, where appropriate, to seek recovery of money.

A civil dispute and a criminal fraud investigation are different processes. A failure to pay, perform, or refund money does not automatically establish criminal fraud; evidence concerning the original representations, intent, and circumstances matters.

For general court information, visit the North Carolina Judicial Branch.

5. Payment Services and Transaction Platforms

When a payment or transaction involved a particular service, the provider may have relevant transaction records or an applicable complaint process.

For Whop-related transactions, the platform identifies separate processes for payment issues and disputes about the product or service. The applicable process depends on how the transaction was made.

Reports to payment providers should include the transaction ID, date, amount, recipient, and relevant communications. A report does not guarantee a reversal or refund.

6. Websites, Social Media, and Online Communities

If relevant material was advertised, solicited, or communicated through an online service, the service may have a separate content or account-reporting process.

For Instagram and other platforms, reporting options may depend on the type of violation and whether the person reporting has an account. Do not assume that a general help page is a direct submission form or that an email report will be accepted.

Relevant reports may include specific posts, account URLs, messages, advertisements, or other content that appears to violate the platform’s rules. Report the material itself and explain the concern factually.

7. Evidence to Preserve

Before submitting a complaint, preserve relevant records in their original form whenever possible:

  • Payment receipts, transaction IDs, and bank or payment-service records.
  • Messages describing the arrangement, expected returns, fees, withdrawals, or refunds.
  • Advertisements and representations about trading performance.
  • Relevant account statements and trading records that the account holder is authorized to access.
  • A dated timeline of payments, promises, requests for information, and responses.
  • The URLs of relevant websites, profiles, posts, and communities.
  • Any case numbers or acknowledgments from previously submitted complaints.

Keep original files and maintain a separate working copy for redaction. Do not access accounts without authorization, attempt to obtain private financial records unlawfully, or publish credentials and sensitive personal information.

8. Important Notice

This page documents accounts supplied by individuals and provides general reporting resources. It is not an official investigation, a determination of liability, or legal advice. The statements published here have not necessarily been independently verified.

Readers should report only information they believe to be accurate, clearly identify hearsay, avoid presenting allegations as established facts, and allow the appropriate authorities to assess the evidence.
